Delhi Elections are on 8th Feb- Will AAP be back in Service Again?

Five years of Arvind Kejriwal’s service and Delhi is back at the Political Race. Elections in India’s capital has always been a matter of national importance. The most significant parties, Parties with vision, and parties that want to make a difference Nationwide have begun and will begin their journey from here. AAP also began their journey just the same in 2012 and now, the Party’s Leader is going up against the two biggest parties of India for the second time.

Arvind Kejriwal had won in the Delhi Elections in 2013 before stepping down from the position after 49 days. Later in 2015, the man had won with a record majority (67 out of 70) against well-established National Political parties like BJP and INC. Since then, he had served the Nation’s Capital as Chief Minister and had done quite a good job in developing it. Chances are that the party might win again and Kejriwal will continue serving Delhi for another five years.
All the exit polls from major media organizations support the same. Exit polls from ABP News, Times Now, News24, etc., show AAP in the lead with BJP gaining slight momentum than in 2015. Most of the Polls by News agencies showed AAP gaining more than 50 seats and BJP gaining 3-10 seats.
AAP had released a 28-point manifesto in mid-January specifying its plans for Delhi. Continuing its promise of free water, free power, and better roads, it added in the manifesto some points about Delhi Jan Lokpal bill, Swaraj Bill, Door Step Delivery of Ration, Pilgrimage cover for 10 lakh Senior Citizens, Addition of patriotism in the school curriculum, Full Statehood of Delhi, etc.
While the debate of CAA is on, it seemed that the saffron party had garnered some support from the people. The number of people in support of CAA is significantly higher in Delhi and this has led to the polls showing a higher number of seats for the BJP than in 2015. While it is for the people to decide the fate of the Capital State, it is highly likely that AAP will be back in service for another 5 years.
