Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections: Raman Singh's Political Future Betrays at first round of 18 seats

In the Chhattisgarh assembly elections in 2018, political parties have claimed their own victory in the 18 seats of Naxal-affected Bastar and Rajnandgaon area, but this time will tell the time of the arrival of the people of these seats, who will witness this continuous change. The significance of these seats can be estimated from the fact that the electoral future of Chief Minister Raman Singh from Rajnandgaon is at stake. He is the niece Karuna Shukla of late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.  In the 18 assembly constituencies of Bastar, Kodagaon, Kanker, Narayanpur, Dantewada, Bijapur and Sukma and Rajnandgaon districts of seven districts of Chhattisgarh's Naxal-affected South Bastar Basti, BJP has been victorious ever and BJP candidates have been victorious. But two seats can be said to be the traditional stronghold of both parties. Like the BJP never lost in Dongargarh, Narayanpur and Jagdalpur. Similarly, the Congress has never lost the Konta seat.

Since the formation of the state since the formation of the state government in Madhya Pradesh, for the next three years, there is a Congress government under the leadership of Ajit Jogi. BJP won in the first assembly elections in 2003. The Bharatiya Janata Party won 13 out of 18 seats in the Naxal affected and the Congress had to satisfy itself with the remaining five seats. NCP remained third in nine seats and it naturally cut Congress votes.

Of the 18 seats in the 2008 assembly elections, the BJP got 15 seats and the Congress got reduced to three seats. Bahujan Samaj Party recorded its presence in this election and got more than six percent votes. BSP was in third place and CPI stood third in three seats. CPI stood second in Dantewada and pushed the BJP to third place.

In 2013, the Congress performed well in these 18 assembly seats and captured 12 seats. BJP won six seats. But the BJP did better in the plains than Bastar and Rajnandgaon and once again went to the corridors of power.

Nota in the discussion

In this election, voting for more than three percent of the vote of nota was the subject of discussion. Talking of the above 18 seats, the notes remained in the third place in eight seats. CPI stood third in three seats. Of these 18 assembly seats, Chief Minister Raman Singh is contesting from Rajnandgaon seat, and against him the Congress is Shukla. Shukla is the niece of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Similarly, Forest Minister Mahesh Gagra is contesting from Bijapur seat and Vikram Shah will contest the Mandavi from the Congress side. While Chandraya is the candid candidate from the coalition. Rajendra Vajpayee, senior proponent and politician of Bastar region says that the Bastar region is witness to constant change. This time, in the Congress where faction is dominated, the BJP complains to the people that it has done development only to the cities and the rural areas have been ignored.

Both the political parties of the state have claimed victory in all the 18 seats of Bastar and Rajnandgaon. State BJP's Mahatant Santosh Pandey says that this time the BJP is winning all the 18 seats in the first phase. BJP has got the support of scheduled tribe before. This time will also get. On the other hand, Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, president of the Congress's media department, says that Congress will win all 18 seats. In Rajnandgaon, Karuna Shukla will not only fight Chief Minister Raman Singh but will also win.

Which claim arises in all these claims and which tuka, it will tell the time to come. However, for Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections in two phases will be held. In the first phase, 18 constituencies will be held on November 12 and the remaining 72 seats will be held on November 20. Counting of votes will take place on December 11. At present, BJP has 49 seats and Congress has 39 seats out of 90 assembly seats in the state. One seat is in the account of BSP and independents.
