Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2018 Live - 2019 Election News

Being one of the five states that have been closer to assembly elections, Rajasthan is said to be a proper battleground for both BJP and Congress parties. The tide could turn any second in the state and with the soon to be Congress BSP alliance BJP is under pressure to act extra carefully in its moves. The by-polls results already showed that the NDA might appear to be losing its grip on the state.

The EC had announced the date recently that elections will be held on 7th of December in Rajasthan. Rajasthan has a total of 200 seats out of which 101 seats are necessary to attain a majority and establish a government.
Vasundhara Raje the present Chief Minister of Rajasthan has recently announced free electricity for farmers to gain their confidence. It has already been mentioned that the selection of candidates is too being carried on carefully on par with Congress party who is making intelligent moves in the recent past.
Despite the many steps taken by the government, some of the Rajasthani villages still bear no electricity. The people are also furious because of the lack of LPG connections that have been promised under the Ujjwala Yojana. The displeasure has been clearly visible in the by-polls conducted by various media agencies.
Despite these, there is a possibility that BJP might be able to provide better solutions to turn the people around and the Congress BSP alliance might account to nothing which makes the Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018 more thrilling than any other state.
